Story time and Draw-along: Twelve in a Race with Catherine Little and Sae Kimura

Saturday, May 13, 11:30 am and 1:30 pm
Weston Family Learning Centre, Art Gallery of Ontario

Twelve animals, big and small, come to answer the Emperor’s call.
Join author and storyteller Catherine Little as she reads her book Twelve in a Race, a retelling of the origin story of the Chinese zodiac.

Catherine Little is an educator, consultant and writer with a love of children’s books. She wrote Twelve in a Race as a way to introduce her son to another zodiac story in his Chinese heritage. Joining Catherine is the book's illustrator, Sae Kimura, who will invite visitors on a draw-along following each reading.

A book signing will follow each reading. Books are available for purchase from AGO’s shop.

Stick around to for the Rabbit Hop Dance Party from 1 - 4 pm.

For requests for Verbal Description, American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation and/or live captioning for online and onsite programming, please provide three weeks notice in advance of the event date.
